When I went deaf a symphony started playing in my mind. Warm, beautiful and poignant. String instruments first, then the choir, then the soprano, tenor and baritone, like I’m in the middle of the Opera House. Your other sensors become more acute, when you loose one, and that’s when I painted this "dark period" series. This is the last in the series, when my hearing was resored, and it dragged me back into the light. Gold painted protector fame.
